How It Works

Fairly Staffing connects dental clinics with temporary dental professionals through our web-based platform and mobile apps. Clinics can post shifts, review interested professionals, confirm coverage, and manage staffing and payroll in one place. Dental hygienists, dental assistants, receptionists, and sterilization technicians can use the professional app to find available shifts and apply directly.

For dental clinics (step-by-step)

1) Create and verify your clinic account

  • Register through the Fairly clinic app: https://app.fairlystaffing.com/clinic/register
  • Or download the clinic mobile app by searching for “Fairly Staffing - For Clinics” in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

After you submit your registration, we review your information and typically verify the clinic account within about an hour. Once the account is verified, you add a credit card and basic clinic details. Your account is then ready for posting shifts.

2) Post the shift

Enter the shift information in the web or mobile app. The platform keeps your clinic information and preferences saved, so you do not need to repeat the same clinic details every time you post. Shift details, expectations, and clinic information remain organized in one place.

You can post temporary coverage needs for:

  • Dental hygienists
  • Dental assistants
  • Receptionists
  • Sterilization technicians

3) Reach available professionals

Once a shift is posted, available and vetted dental professionals can receive a notification and view the shift in the professional app. Professionals can review the shift information and apply directly through the platform rather than communicating through separate social-media posts or repeated text messages.

We describe identity and license verification for professionals. The platform is intended to connect clinics with available dental hygienists and assistants, while the broader app workflow also supports receptionists and sterilization technicians.

4) Review applicants and confirm coverage

Clinic staff can view applicants directly in the platform and choose the applicant they prefer. The workflow is designed to let clinics confirm coverage without agency back-and-forth, and some shifts may be filled in under 14 minutes.

Review the applicants, select the preferred professional, and confirm the booking in the app.

5) Complete any required onboarding

Before using the platform as a clinic, you complete account verification, add a payment card, and provide basic clinic details.

Clinics should confirm any role-specific instructions, arrival details, access information, dress requirements, charting expectations, and other workplace procedures directly with the professional through the platform or the clinic’s normal communication process.

6) Complete the shift and process payment

After the shift is completed, we support payment through Fairly Payroll or a clinic’s preferred payment method. Fairly Payroll is described as a CRA-compliant payroll system for temporary and permanent team members.

The platform also keeps shift, payment, and staffing details together, allowing clinics to track what was booked and paid.

For dental professionals

Use the professional app to browse available dental temp shifts: https://app.fairlystaffing.com/temp-download

You can:

  • Browse available shifts
  • Set your hourly rate
  • Choose shifts that fit your schedule
  • Apply directly through the platform
  • Track payments through the platform

Some shifts may qualify for instant pay.

For multi-location groups

Fairly Enterprise provides a centralized hub for dental groups and DSOs. From one dashboard, authorized users can manage staffing, billing, and reporting across locations, view shifts and fill rates, monitor spending, and manage internal float-pool staff before booking temporary professionals.
